Ζωγραφικό σχέδιο που παρουσιάζει ένα τοπίο, αποτέλεσμα των πειραμάτων που διεξάγονταν στα εργαστήρια. Επάλληλες γραμμές και καμπύλες δημιουργούν ένα σύνολο, έναν όγκο που, αν και δεν απεικονίζει κάτι παραστατικό, μοιάζει με στοιχείο του ορατού, οργανικού μας κόσμου, καθώς είναι αποτέλεσμα των αναρίθμητων παρατηρήσεων της Ξένιας στη φύση.
ΔΗΜΙΟΥΡΓΟΣ
Ksenia Vladimirovna Ender was born in 1895 in Slutsk. A family of artists, sister of Boris, Yurii and Maria Ender, they were all actively involved in visual arts, poetry, music and theatre. She studied at the Realism Workshops of the State Free Artistic Workshops (Svomas) in Petrograd (1918-1922) under Mikhail Matiushin. In 1920-1922 she took part in events held by Matiushin's friends and students in honour of Elena Guro. From 1923 to 1926 she worked in the Department of Organic Education of the State Institute of Artistic Education, took an active part in spatial and colour experiments in Mikhail Matiushin's circle and then worked at the Institute of Decorations (1925-1927). In 1923 she participated in the Exhibition of Paintings of All Trends of Artists in Petrograd and in 1924 in the 14th Venice Biennale. She died in Leningrad in 1955.
