ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
During the pandemic, Konstantinos Markogiannis created the photographic collage "Hollywood 06" which exists in an intermediate state reflecting the transformative functions of the collective psyche. It is not a faithful translation of an ongoing health crisis, nor a conventional mechanism of recording and documentation.
CREATOR
Konstantinos Markogiannis was born in 1977 in Thessaloniki. A graduate of Anatolia College, he studied illustration and photography and obtained a PhD in fine arts. The themes of his artworks revolve around the exploration of the human psyche, mortality, identity and the investigation of consciousness.
