Museum of Contemporary Art
From now on: stories for the next tomorrow
May 24, 2024 - November 17, 2024
Temporary

The exhibition marks a cycle of revisiting the Museum's permanent collections, with the aim of creating new points of contact and connection between the public, the exhibited artworks, the Museum and its history.

Stories arising from the research and interests of Museum staff, the interests of educational groups, historians, artists and other personalities from the field of culture, will serve as proposals not of another linear view of art history and its related approaches, but as a starting point for a dialogue around the social and artistic relationships that the artworks themselves, their creators, and their audiences allow to develop.

The exhibition, thanks to its scope and a number of individual spatial and architectural interventions, will mark a kind of reboot for the Museum and a revisiting of its rich artistic treasures. This concerted effort both at the building and exhibition level, seeks to illuminate the capacity of the works and renew the Museum's relationship with the public.
